Job Description:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services in Washington. As a Virtual SLP, you will work with K-12 students with diverse needs, delivering therapy services through our online platform. This position offers the flexibility to work from home while providing essential speech and language therapy to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy sessions via a teletherapy platform.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest practices and developments in speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid SLP license in Washington.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting (preferred).
- Experience with teletherapy is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable with technology and digital platforms.
