We are looking for a dedicated SLP to work remotely with K-12 students in Alaska, ensuring that each student has access to the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for articulation, fluency, language development, and other speech-related challenges.
- Provide engaging remote therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings to ensure students receive the necessary services and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with Alaska’s special education guidelines.
What You Need:
- A valid Alaska Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least two years of experience in a school-based setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
- Proficiency with virtual speech therapy tools and online assessment platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional workspace.
