About VocoVision:
VocoVision is looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide speech and language therapy, helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve success in their academic and social environments through virtual learning.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver remote speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s specific speech and language goals.
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to track student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide input on speech and language needs and goals.
- Assist general education teachers in integrating speech and language strategies into classroom activities.
- Maintain thorough therapy documentation and comply with Pennsylvania’s special education requirements.
What You Need:
- Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least two years of experience as an SLP, preferably with teletherapy experience.
- Strong proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
