Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity Illinois (Teletherapy)

Sunbelt is partnering with a school district in Illinois to provide virtual speech therapy services to students with mild to moderate disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024 school year. This remote SLP position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on students' communication development.
Position Overview
- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Work Environment: 100% Remote
- Contract Duration: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Compensation: Competitive pay
Core Responsibilities
- Assessments & Therapy: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and deliver virtual therapy to students.
- IEP Collaboration: Lead and contribute to IEP meetings to ensure individualized student support.
- Teletherapy: Provide services using telepractice platforms and other digital tools for virtual therapy.
What We’re Looking For
- Licensure: Active Illinois SLP License and Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Experience: At least 2 years of school-based experience, with a background in teletherapy preferred.
- Technical Requirements: Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the ability to conduct therapy remotely; a technical screening will be required prior to the interview.
Additional Information
- This is a 1099 contractor position, so you will need to provide professional liability insurance upon hire.
- Candidates who do not yet have their Illinois PEL may apply for it after being offered the role.
