Position Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our remote network in Texas. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing essential services through teletherapy. As a valued member of our contracting network, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to the academic and personal growth of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills using teletherapy platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings and student needs.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support student progress and achieve therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation required for IEP meetings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice speech-language pathology.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and technology to deliver virtual services.
