Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote speech and language therapy services to our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to helping clients achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
- Provide therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms, ensuring effective and engaging interventions.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to support treatment goals and progress.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and client communications.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Illinois Teaching Certification
- Experience providing speech and language therapy from remote setting preferred.
- Strong technical skills and comfort with teletherapy platforms and digital tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to therapy.
