Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time remote position. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, providing teletherapy services to students in Washington State. The ideal candidate will have a valid Washington State SLP license, a teaching certification, and at least 2 years of experience in the field, particularly in a school or educational setting. This role offers a stable work schedule of 37.5 hours per week, and we are looking for someone who can begin immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students via teletherapy.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student development.
- Manage documentation of therapy sessions and maintain compliance with IEP goals.
- Participate in virtual meetings, including IEP conferences and team discussions.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP License.
- Valid Teaching Certification (Washington State or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SLP, preferably in a school environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote technology.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a virtual caseload.
