Remote Speech Language Pathologist - Rutland, VT | School-Based SLP | Teletherapy Opportunity
We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Speech Language Pathologist for a remote position serving K-12 students in the Rutland, Vermont area. This role provides an excellent opportunity to make a difference in students' lives through virtual therapy services.
Job Description:
- Provide remote speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Perform assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Keep detailed and up-to-date documentation
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in school-related activities
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Vermont state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- At least 2 years of experience in a school setting
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Competence in telehealth delivery methods and associated technologies
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students with various communication disorders
- Create and execute evidence-based therapy plans
- Track and report student progress
- Offer training and support to parents and school personnel
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations
