Job Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to K-12 students across Washington State. As an independent contractor, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely while delivering impactful therapy sessions through VocoVision’s state-of-the-art teletherapy platform. This is a unique opportunity to help Washington students overcome communication barriers and reach their full potential, regardless of their location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs in compliance with Washington State education standards.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet IEP goals.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions using VocoVision’s secure teletherapy platform.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and school staff to support student success.
- Track and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy strategies as needed.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide expert insights aligned with Washington State regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active Washington State SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or knowledge of Washington’s educational standards (preferred).
- Strong technical skills and ability to adapt to virtual platforms.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
