Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; create and implement customized education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver therapy services, track student progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Conduct screenings, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings for comprehensive planning.
- Advocate for students’ needs, stay informed on field advancements, and pursue continuous professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Illinois SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
Highlights:
- 1099 Position
- Guaranteed Weekly Hours
- Hourly Rate: $45-$55
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
