Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and fluency disorders; develop and implement personalized IEPs.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment.
- Work in partnership with educators, parents, and school staff to support effective communication strategies.
- Perform screenings, keep detailed records, and take part in multidisciplinary team discussions for comprehensive planning.
- Champion students’ communication needs, train staff, and pursue professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Kansas SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
