Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as required.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication development.
- Conduct screenings, maintain detailed records, and participate in team meetings for effective planning.
- Advocate for students, stay updated on industry trends, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Illinois SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
