Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Remote (Minnesota)
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time, Contract
Pay: $45/Hour
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students using virtual platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders through teletherapy sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals and generalization of skills.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to facilitate carryover of therapy strategies in the classroom and home environments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and teletherapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Minnesota SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP, with experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
