Remote Speech-Language Pathologist
VocoVision is looking for a fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assist students virtually. All positions through VocoVision will treat you as an independent 1099 contractor, allowing you to have the flexibility of your scheduling and finances. Please see below for additional details.
Additional Details
- 1099 contracting
- K-12 mild-moderate caseloads
- Full-time hours (35-40 hours including indirect time) or part-time hours
- Digital toolkit access, including provided evaluations via Zoom
- Specific caseload (i.e., ages, needs) can vary from district to district
- $55-60/hour for both direct and indirect time, depending on experience
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid California license and/or educational certificate as an SLP
- Two years of experience in schools
- Past remote experience highly preferred
- Capable internet and computer set up for virtual work
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
Responsibilities
- Conduct remote evaluations and therapy sessions via Teams/Zoom
- Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists through virtual meetings
- Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication disorders
- Document student progress and maintains digital records in compliance with IDEA
- Use interactive digital tools, games, and activities through online toolkit
- Provide consultation and training to teachers/staff on supporting students' needs
