Contract Duration: January 2, 2025 – June 13, 2025
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide virtual therapy services to students. This remote position involves delivering speech therapy to both preschool and school-aged children, helping them meet their communication goals in a supportive, virtual environment.
Key Duties:
- Conduct speech screenings and formal assessments
- Prepare thorough reports outlining evaluations and student progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and child study team discussions
- Offer direct speech therapy to students, including those enrolled in early childhood programs such as Head Start
- Work closely with parents, involving them in therapy planning and updates on progress
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on the needs of each student
- Maintain accurate therapy records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Requirements:
- Valid ESA certification for Speech-Language Pathology (Washington State)
- OSPI fingerprint clearance
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a school setting as an SLP
