Job Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) based in Washington State to provide remote services to K-12 students in local schools. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to work from home while delivering high-quality speech therapy services via VocoVision’s teletherapy platform. This role offers the opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives, using innovative tools to deliver therapy across Washington.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual evaluations to identify speech and language needs for students across Washington schools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with Washington State IEP requirements.
- Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions using the VocoVision teletherapy platform.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' progress.
- Monitor and document students’ performance, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute professional insights tailored to Washington State educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Washington State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience working in Washington State schools or familiarity with state education guidelines (preferred).
- Proficiency in using technology for virtual therapy and documentation.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
