Position Overview:
We are looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote 1099 contract position. In this role, you will provide speech therapy services to children or adults through a secure online platform, making a meaningful difference in clients' lives from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech therapy services to K-12 students or adults, depending on the assignment
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop customized therapy plans
- Use evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other team members to track progress and ensure effective services
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Uphold professionalism and deliver high-quality care in all interactions
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Alabama and an Alabama teaching certificate
- Experience in clinical or educational settings with children or adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms or willing to undergo training
- Reliable internet connection for effective remote sessions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and progress reports
