Remote Special Education Teacher (SPED) for K-12 Students
Job Description:
We are hiring a Remote Special Education Teacher (SPED) to work with K-12 students. You will assess, plan, and deliver individualized education programs to help students with diverse learning needs succeed in an academic setting.
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of students’ academic and behavioral needs.

Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Provide specialized instruction via online platforms.

Collaborate with general and special education teams.

Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.

Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher (SPED).

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities, with remote teaching experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams remotely.

Proficiency in using tele-education platforms and assistive technology for remote service delivery.
