Job Description:
VocoVision is hiring a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, remote position serving students across the state of Idaho. As a Virtual SLP, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality speech therapy services from the comfort of your home while helping students develop their communication skills.
You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for K-12 students using cutting-edge telehealth platforms. VocoVision offers a comprehensive toolkit to support your virtual lessons and a dedicated clinical and technical team to assist you with both therapy and platform-related needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech therapy to K-12 students in Idaho using secure teletherapy platforms.
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations, including screenings and assessments, to identify and diagnose speech disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each student’s unique needs and goals.
- Provide consistent documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and any relevant evaluations.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student progress and communication goals.
- Utilize a variety of digital tools and interactive resources to keep students engaged and motivated during virtual therapy sessions.
- Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and teletherapy.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Idaho state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required.
- Experience with teletherapy or telehealth platforms is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Comfort with digital tools to enhance virtual therapy.
