Remote SLP Opening for the 2024-2025 School Year
San Jose, CA
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team remotely for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students' speech and language development, primarily in elementary grades with some middle school involvement. Candidates must have experience with SEIS and be comfortable conducting remote assessments.
Position Details:
- School Year: 2024-2025
- Start Date: August 7, 2024
- End Date: June 5, 2025
- Compensation: $50 - $60 per hour (depending on school budget)
- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contract
- Schedule: Full-Time (35-40 hours per week)
- Location: Remote (CA schools experience preferred)
- Caseload: Mostly elementary, with some middle school
Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Adapt and modify instructional materials to meet the needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.
- Case manage and treat students as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have active certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- 2 years of remote teaching experience preferred.
- Must have SEIS experience.
- Experience with remote assessments is a plus.
- Experience with California schools preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Liability insurance required.
Note: Remote positions do not receive benefits.
