VocoVision is currently looking for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to deliver remote services to a district in Virginia. Founded in 2013, the company partners with schools to deliver personalized and effective care through a user-friendly virtual platform, employing licensed professionals dedicated to student success.
Job Description:
- Evaluating, planning and implementing appropriate individualized speech therapy programs for each student based on treatment plan goals developed in partnership with educators and parents.
- Monitoring services and providing progress information that will enable each student to develop their personal goals, preferences and needs.
- Employing speech therapy strategies and techniques during each session to improve the development of speech and communication skills, receptive and expressive language, cognition, and memory while meeting the individual age-appropriate needs of each child in their natural environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Virginia state license for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Experience in school settings is a plus.
- Proficient in using virtual therapy platforms and technology for remote sessions is preferred.
- High-speed internet and a home computer with up to date software.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
