Virtual K-12 Speech Language Pathologist - 1099
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and motivated Virtual SLP to provide online speech services for K-12 students for a school district located in Danbury, CT. This flexible, remote position offers the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while making a significant impact on students' communication skills.
*If applying outside the state of Connecticut, SLP must have active license in the state they are living AND and active SLP license in the state of Connecticut.*
Details
- Position: Virtual K-12 SLP
- Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Location: Connecticut - Remote (Virtual/Teletherapy)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 - 3:30
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and caseload
- Payment: Weekly direct deposit
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- At least 2 years of K-12 experience
- Previous teletherapy experience is a plus
- Ability to provide virtual therapy sessions with engaging, interactive tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual speech therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adapt therapy strategies for an online learning environment
