Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality sign language interpretation services to individuals and organizations, ensuring effective communication between deaf and hearing individuals in various settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and culturally appropriate sign language interpretation for a wide range of events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.
- Interpret in real-time during virtual meetings, phone calls, or video conferences.
Qualifications:
- Certification in American Sign Language (ASL) or equivalent sign language proficiency.
- Proven experience in sign language interpreting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of people and personalities.
- EIPA score with higher than a 3.5 is required
