Pennsylvania Virtual Licensed School Speech Therapist Opening
We are looking for a Virtual School Speech Therapist who is enthusiastic about staying at the forefront of teletherapy services.
As an independent contractor with Sunbelt Staffing, you will assess and address emotional, social, and academic challenges of students in a virtual environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students from various backgrounds, cultures, and abilities, assisting them in developing the necessary skills and strategies for success in both their education and personal lives.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual assessments to identify and diagnose speech and language disorders
• Provide virtual therapy to students facing speech and language difficulties
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Facilitate virtual social skills groups and similar programs to enhance students' emotional intelligence and resilience
• Effectively communicate with parents and families, offering support and guidance
Requirements:
• Hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Have professional liability insurance (can be obtained upon job offer)
• Demonstrate experience working with students in a virtual setting
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Display the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
