Remote School Speech-Language Pathologist (Virtual) - Virginia
Make a difference as a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist for Virginia schools, where you’ll provide teletherapy services to students in need of speech and language support. This role combines flexibility with impactful service delivery, reaching students statewide.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
- Conduct remote evaluations to assess speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and manage therapy interventions designed to improve students' communication skills.
- Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational plans.
- Utilize online therapy tools and resources to enhance engagement and effectiveness during sessions.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist; telehealth experience preferred.
- Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
