Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a school setting
• Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure in Michigan
• Experience in leading IEPs and conducting evaluations
• Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills
Job Details:
• Full-time position for the 2024-2025 school year (37.5 hours per week)
• Serving high school students, including those attending a virtual academy
• Mild to moderate disabilities
• Focus on speech therapy for receptive and expressive language skills, articulation, and more
• Work remotely with opportunities to collaborate with school teams and parents
• Access to district email and IEP system
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough evaluations of students with speech and language needs
• Provide remote therapy services aimed at improving communication skills
• Assist in creating speech and language curriculum and school policies
• Deliver therapy sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform to individuals and small groups
• Develop and communicate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
• Work with parents and educators to track student progress
• Attend school-wide conferences as needed
