Remote School Speech-Language Pathologist California
VocoVision is partnering with a school district in California to find a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their growing team of professionals.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in schools
• Active SLP license in California
• Experience leading IEPs and conducting evaluations
• Comfortable with technology and effective communication
Job Details:
• Full-time position for the 2024-2025 school year (37.5 hours per week)
• Working with high school students, including those at a virtual academy
• Students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Responsibilities include direct therapy for receptive, expressive, and articulation needs
• Collaborate with other professionals and parents remotely
• Access to a district email and IEP system
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify students with speech and language disorders through comprehensive evaluations
• Provide remote speech and language therapy to prevent or address communication difficulties
• Assist in developing curriculum and policies regarding speech and language services
• Provide tele-therapy in a HIPAA-compliant environment to both individual students and small groups
• Tailor individual educational plans (IEPs) based on each student’s needs
• Communicate progress and goals effectively to students, parents, and staff
• Participate in school-wide conferences and meetings as requested
