Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Virtual School Psychologist to work with K-12 students in Washington. This remote, independent contractor position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ mental health and academic performance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create strategies for student success.
- Participate in virtual IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to provide expert recommendations.
- Deliver crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Active School Psychologist license in Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience (virtual experience preferred).
- Familiarity with IDEA, 504 plans, and the IEP process.
- Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload as a 1099 contractor.
