Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a school setting
- Active Indiana licensure
- Skilled in conducting IEPs and evaluations
- Tech-savvy with strong communication skills
Position Information:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- High school-aged students
- Multiple schools, including a virtual academy
- Mild to moderate disabilities
- Direct therapy in articulation, language development, etc.
- Collaboration with team members and parents remotely
- District email and access to IEP system
Essential Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech and language challenges
- Provide remote therapy services to help students with communication difficulties
- Assist in developing curriculum and policies for speech/language services
- Plan and implement therapy via HIPAA/FERPA-compliant platform
- Design customized programs that meet students’ needs and ensure academic growth
- Communicate IEP goals to students, parents, and staff
- Regular attendance and a professional approach are essential
