Role Overview
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with VocoVision, you’ll play a crucial role in improving students' speech and language skills. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure that each student receives the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessments: Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities and identify areas of concern.
- Therapeutic Services: Provide individual or small group therapy to address communication issues such as articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- IEP Collaboration: Work with educators and families to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that are tailored to each student’s needs.
- Student Advocacy: Ensure that students have access to the resources and accommodations necessary for academic and social success.
- Ongoing Support: Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Who We Need
- Licensure: Current Arizona state licensure and Arizona Educator Credential
- Certification: ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Clearance: Must have an Arizona Fingerprinting Clearance Card (IVP)
- Experience: Previous experience with virtual therapy is a plus, but not required
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
