Remote School-Based - California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: California School -Based (Remote)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a California school district. This position involves providing speech and language services to students, each with unique needs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills and be able to effectively use technology to deliver engaging virtual therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive virtual speech and language therapy to students across four elementary schools.
- Conduct detailed assessments to identify individual student speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement tailored individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support and progress.
- Utilize various technology platforms for therapy sessions, data collection, and stakeholder communication.
- Stay current with the latest telepractice techniques and tools in speech therapy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress in compliance with district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Proven experience in providing virtual therapy services.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency with teletherapy platforms and educational technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Student Needs:
- Articulation Disorders: Support students with pronunciation and clarity challenges.
- Language Delays: Assist students facing expressive and receptive language difficulties.
- Social Communication Skills: Provide therapy for students with pragmatic language deficits.
- Fluency Disorders: Work with students who experience stuttering and other fluency issues.
