Position Overview:
VocoVision & ProCare Therapy are seeking passionate Speech Language Pathologists to join our remote team in Texas. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing essential services through teletherapy. As a valued member of our team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to the academic and personal growth of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication skills using teletherapy platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings and student needs.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support student progress and achieve therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation required for IEP meetings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and teletherapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice speech-language pathology.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
