Join ProCare Therapy as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Providence, RI and help high school students overcome communication challenges. This contract position allows you to provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of students with moderate to severe disabilities in a supportive and engaging school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group speech therapy services for high school students (under 50 students)
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Focus on improving articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and social communication skills
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to track student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, administrators, and families, to support student goals
- Use the ASPEN IEP system for documentation and progress tracking
- Position is onsite only at a high school in Providence, RI, working from 7:15 am - 1:35 pm
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 16, 2025
- Schedule: Full Time or 3 days per week, 7:15 am - 1:35 pm
- Caseload: Approximately 50 high school students
- Interviews: Zoom or in-person available
Qualifications:
- SLP state licensure and CCC-SLP certification required
- Experience with moderate to severe speech and language disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) using ASPEN
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
