Blazerjobs is seeking a highly skilled Virtual or onsite Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide interpretation services for students in K-12 educational settings. If you have an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher and experience working in schools, this is a great opportunity to support students while working from the comfort of your home.
Position Overview:
- Location: Plymouth, NC (100% Virtual)
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) during virtual classes
- Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff
- Support students’ educational success by ensuring they understand course material
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
Qualifications:
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Minimum 2 years of experience interpreting in educational settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with virtual platforms
- Reliable internet connection for seamless virtual work
