Job Description:
Soliant is actively seeking dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for multiple full-time positions in Philipsburg, PA for the 2024-2025 school year. As an SLP in this role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ academic and communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
- Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices to support student success
- Stay current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
