Job Details:
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Perry, GA (Houston County School System)
- Start Date: October 31, 2024
- End Date: June 12, 2025
- Grade Levels: Multiple (P-12)
- Caseload: Special Education Students
- Onsite Only
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic services to students with speech and language needs
- Monitor, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) annually
- Maintain accurate student records and collaborate with educators
- Conduct speech/language screenings and refer students to specialists when necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and educational staff regarding student progress
- Stay updated on instructional methods and best practices in the field
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia certification in Speech and Language Pathology
- Previous school experience is preferred
