Position Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, remote position allows you to work with students across Pennsylvania, providing vital speech therapy services in a flexible, online format. If you're an ASHA-certified SLP (CCC-SLP) with a passion for teletherapy and helping students succeed, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual speech therapy to students with a range of speech and language needs (articulation, language disorders, fluency, etc.) via a secure virtual platform.
- Assess students' needs through evaluations and develop personalized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to ensure coordinated, effective care for each student.
- Monitor progress regularly, providing updates and adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all services provided, including progress notes and student communications.
- Stay informed about best practices in speech therapy and virtual learning to ensure the highest standard of service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is required.
- Current Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-age children and familiarity with IEPs is preferred.
- Comfort and proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to student care.
