Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to assess speech and language needs, focusing on articulation, fluency, comprehension, and expression
- Create and implement customized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique goals
- Provide direct therapy in individual or small group settings, ensuring interventions align with academic requirements
- Work closely with educators, parents, and school staff to foster a collaborative support system for students
- Advocate for students’ communication needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and thrive in their school environment
What You’ll Need
- Pennsylvania Department of Education certification (required)
- Current Pennsylvania clearances for working in schools (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with PreK-12 students preferred; caseloads will be tailored to your strengths
- Strong communication and organizational skills for a virtual setting
