Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Remote School Social Worker to join our team and support the mental, emotional, and social well-being of students in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will work virtually with students, teachers, and families to promote positive behavior, mental health, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual counseling and support to students dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, family challenges, or behavioral concerns.
- Develop and implement intervention plans, including individual or group counseling sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to identify students in need of support and help create effective solutions.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies for students in need of urgent assistance.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certification
- Previous experience as a School Social Worker or in a related field.
