Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Yelm, WA - School-Based Caseload

Our partner school in the Yelm, Washington area is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). We are seeking a kind and caring applicant that is eager to assist K - 12th students.
Requirements:
- Must have an active SLPA Washington License
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI during credentialing process
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week
- Caseload: K - 5th grade, specific details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Range: $20 - $40 per hour, depending on previous experience
- Assist the supervising SLP in implementing speech and language therapy interventions for students or clients with communication disorders.
- Track and document students' progress during therapy sessions, recording specific targets, strategies used, and outcomes.
- Prepare therapy materials and resources, such as visual aids, games, and activities, to facilitate effective therapy sessions.
