Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Hourly Rate: $50-$55/hr (covers both direct and indirect services, paid weekly)

Position Overview:
VocoVision is currently seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote role supporting high school students with moderate to severe disabilities. This flexible, part-time opportunity allows you to work from home while providing crucial services to students in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high school students, particularly those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and should be comfortable navigating the ASPEN IEP platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy to students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Create and monitor IEP goals and objectives, ensuring they align with student needs.
- Administer speech evaluations and assessments as required.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and development.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current Rhode Island state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Valid teaching credential through the Rhode Island Department of Education.
- Experience providing speech therapy services to high school students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Familiarity with the ASPEN IEP system is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Additional Details:
- Caseload: Fewer than 50 students.
- Work Schedule: 3 days per week, during typical school hours.
- Licensing: Must hold licensure in both the state of residence and Rhode Island.
- Term: This role is scheduled through June 16, 2025, with the possibility of summer work or extension for the next school year.
