Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity – Lawrence, MA
Onsite | 15-18 Hours/Week | K-6 Caseload
Job Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school district near Lawrence, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity for an SLP looking for a flexible schedule while working with a small caseload (5-8 students) with moderate to severe needs in a K-6 setting. This role involves adaptive communication strategies, specifically for nonverbal students.
Position Details:
- Location: Lawrence, MA
- Employment Type: Part-time (15-18 hours per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of school year (EOSY)
- Caseload: 5-8 students with moderate to severe needs
- Age Range: Kindergarten - 6th grade
- Focus: Adaptive work with nonverbal students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services
- Develop and implement adaptive communication strategies for nonverbal students
- Conduct assessments and create individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams
- Maintain accurate records and ensure IEP compliance
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Massachusetts SLP license
- ASHA CCCs preferred (Clinical Fellows considered)
- Experience with nonverbal students and adaptive communication preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
