This is a fantastic opportunity to provide direct services and make a positive difference in the lives of students with multiple disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students with multiple disabilities, primarily with speech as a secondary disability
- Work with 20 students, including 2-3 students with speech-language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each student's unique needs
- Serve students in both resource and self-contained settings
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active Minnesota SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with elementary students with multiple disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping children succeed in communication and learning
Interview Process:
There will be a 5-10 minute phone screening with one of our recruiters. If selected, there will be a more in-depth zoom interview with the district where more details about the opportunity will be provided.
