This position allows you to provide direct services to students with multiple disabilities, especially those with speech as a secondary disability, in a setting where you can truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary students, focusing on speech as a secondary disability for most
- Work with 20 students, including 2-3 with speech-language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Deliver services in both resource and self-contained classroom settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to track and support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Minnesota SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students with multiple disabilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Passion for improving the lives of children through effective communication therapy
Interview Process:
There will be a 5-10 minute phone screening with one of our recruiters. If selected, there will be a more in-depth zoom interview with the district where more details about the opportunity will be provided.
