In this position, you’ll have the chance to provide direct services to students with multiple disabilities, helping them overcome challenges and improve their speech and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary students with multiple disabilities (speech as a secondary disability)
- Work with 20 students, including 2-3 students with speech-language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Provide therapy in resource and self-contained classroom settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student progress and achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Minnesota SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students with multiple disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping children develop their communication skills and achieve success
Interview Process:
There will be a 5-10 minute phone screening with one of our recruiters. If selected, there will be a more in-depth zoom interview with the district where more details about the opportunity will be provided.
