Job Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024/2025 school year in Bloomfield, NJ. This position involves working with a caseload of approximately 20 students, including conducting evaluations and attending meetings. The role offers 24 hours per week and is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse student population.
Position Details:
- Start Date: 2024/2025 school year
- Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week
- Caseload: Approximately 20 students
- Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Attend meetings and collaborate with staff and parents
- Conduct evaluations and participate in the development of IEPs
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold an active New Jersey SLP license
- Experience: Experience working in school settings preferred
- Skills: Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
