Part-Time SLPA Opportunity Near La Habra, CA
Soliant is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time, 3-week assignment near La Habra, CA. This role will involve working with students with moderate to severe disabilities at both elementary and middle school levels. The position will begin on March 3, 2025, and end on March 28, 2025, with hours from 8:00 AM to 1:45 PM, Monday through Friday. The SLPA will work alongside a veteran Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services across two adjacent campuses.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to provide speech and language services to students.
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe disabilities and RSP students.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Track student progress and document therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the SLP and other school professionals to develop strategies for student success.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure in California.
- Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to work with elementary and middle school-aged students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work the full duration of the assignment, March 3, 2025 – March 28, 2025.
