We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a dynamic educational team in Sedona, Arizona, for the 2024-2025 school year. This part-time role will run from December through June, providing support to students across a K-12 caseload in a beautiful and welcoming school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement therapy plans, monitor student progress, and provide individualized support.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure students' needs are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with families and team members.
Ideal Candidate:
- Current SLPA certification (or eligible for certification) in the state of Arizona.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development in speech and language.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
