Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team on a part-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to work in a private school setting at the elementary level, providing speech and language services to students in need. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with elementary school students preferred
