Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Forest Park, IL area. This part-time position involves working with early childhood students, supporting itinerant and walk-in services. The role will primarily focus on half-day early childhood programs, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are looking for a professional who can commit to two and a half days per week, providing 15 hours of service with flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to early childhood students.
- Support itinerant and walk-in services within the early childhood programs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- Experience working with early childhood students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
